President Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has triggered protests in dozens of major cities, and unprecedented criticism in the Russian press. This has in turn prompted a domestic crackdown, with widespread arrests, new laws against independent reporting, and the shuttering of several social media platforms.
Has all this caused fissures in the Russian regime? There have been persistent rumours in the past month of fractures between Mr Putin and his ministers, as well as within the military and security services. And clients have asked us about the likelihood that President Putin will be removed from his position.
In this webinar, we will outline our assessments of how the Ukraine conflict has affected regime stability in Russia. We will then look at potential scenarios for regime change, laying out indicators and monitoring points to allow clients to track these. We will also discuss the impact that instability in Russia would have domestically and abroad.
We look forward to you joining. Places are limited and preference will be given to Dragonfly clients.
