The situation in Sri Lanka seemingly calmed last week, after a political and economic crisis prompted several days of civil unrest and a security crackdown. But the drivers of the crisis remain unresolved, suggesting unrest and civil disorder may erupt again. As well as prompting near-term decisions such as whether to activate crisis or evacuation plans, the crisis also puts into question the longer-term viability of operations in the country.
In this emergency briefing, our panel of analysts will provide updated forecasts on how we see the crisis progressing, both in the near and longer terms. We will outline several scenarios, considering potential outlier developments such as a coup or return to civil conflict. The briefing will also include an opportunity for attendees to pose questions to our panel.
We look forward to you joining. Places are limited and preference will be given to Dragonfly clients.
