Climate change: Geopolitical and security implications

Dragonfly is hosting a webinar to look at the geopolitical and security implications of climate change.

Economic losses are soaring globally due to greater climate variability and more frequent extreme weather events. But it is not just the direct consequences of climate change that impact the bottom line. The geopolitical and wider security implications of climate change also create costly – and potentially profitability-threatening – problems for businesses over the coming decades. And complying with changing environmental regulations and standards will require businesses to introduce new measures and processes.

In this briefing, we will:

  • Identify the most pressing geopolitical and security challenges being created by climate change
  • Consider the most consequential implications for businesses and corporate security of emerging climate-related security risks
  • Offer views on how to manage climate-related risks while adopting more sustainable business practices

The webinar will take place on Thursday, 15 June 2023 at 1600hrs London / 1700hrs Paris / 1100hrs New York / 1900hrs Dubai, and there will be an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
