The upcoming World Cup will see an unprecedented number of visitors to Qatar, and there are questions around whether the country is prepared for this. There have already been signs that the authorities will struggle to provide adequate accommodation and transport options. In this briefing, our panel of regional specialists will discuss why organisations with travel plans or involvement in the tournament should revisit their risk assessments for Qatar, touching on the challenges it will pose and what is being done to address these.

As well as the operational environment, several clients have asked us about the security and reputational risks associated with the event. Our panel will also explore the broader reputational and brand risks for organisations attending or sponsoring the event. This will include findings from online channels we monitor, as well as our analysis of the global impact firms may expect from being associated with the event. Our panel will also outline the cyber security risks and threats around the tournament.

We look forward to you joining. Places are limited and preference will be given to Dragonfly clients.
