Briefing | Iran-Israel: Scenarios for conflict

Developments in recent weeks indicate that attacks by Israel and Iran on each others’ interests are highly likely in the coming months. These include the killing of an IRGC officer in Tehran, a drone strike near Erbil and Israeli warnings of imminent attacks by Iran-linked operatives against Israeli citizens in Istanbul. The rise in tensions seem to have been precipitated by dwindling prospects for the revival of the internationally brokered deal to curtail Iran’s nuclear activities.

In this briefing, we will discuss the prospects for the nuclear deal and outline the possible scenarios and how they are likely to impact the strategic calculus of both Iran and Israel over the coming year. And we will consider the extent to which snap parliamentary elections in Israel are likely to affect this dynamic. Our analysts will also outline the most probable locations for tensions between Iran and Israel to play out, not just in the Middle East but globally.

We look forward to you joining. Places are limited and preference will be given to Dragonfly clients.
